Let’s see how you do with this one. Two vehicle garage. One vehicle must be from a German Premium Brand while the other must be from a Japanese Premium Brand. Of course, there are catches:
The German Premium Vehicle must be on sale right now by the manufacturer and utilize a naturally aspirated engine. Audi R8 is not allowed!!!
The Japanese Premium Vehicle must be from model years 2010 to 2015 and utilize a stock forced induction system.
Bonus : You can have a third vehicle, but it must have a glove compartment that is opened with the press of a button. No levers allowed!
Have fun and good night Oppo! Remember that tomorrow is National Goof Off Day , so don’t do anything differently!

1. Audi A8L W12
2. Nissan GT-R Black Edition

Boxster GT4
is there any premium japanese brand that utilized forced induction during those times? I’m coming up blank...
![]() 03/21/2016 at 22:56 |

Well my car has a press-button glovebox, so I’ll keep that as my bonus third car. The German will be a 911 4S Targa and the Japanese will be an Acura RDX because that’s the only non-GTR I can think of that has forced induction.

Can’t edit, guessing the GT-R doesn’t count.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 22:58 |

Hint: Think compacts, especially crossovers. There may be a sedan in there though...
![]() 03/21/2016 at 22:58 |

So the bonus car is a Fiskar.
The Japanese one is not a Lexus, an infinti, Or the new NSX or.... Shit. This year range thing is killing me. What do you define as a premium brand?
And the German one is a E92 M3
![]() 03/21/2016 at 22:59 |

Nope! Muhahahaha
![]() 03/21/2016 at 22:59 |

oh you ass. (thinking about it, i cant name ONE ‘premium’ japanese car that was boosted from those years.
german: BMW S1000RR. (you never said it had to be 4 wheels)
japanese: the only one I can think of is the lexus Is 200t, which i’m not entirely sure if they actually started dropping the 2.0L T into them in 2015. (just checked on wiki, they started building them in 2015)

Lexus IS200d ( https://lexusenthusiast.com/2010/08/30/new… )

There is a small Lexus that got that engine before the IS...just sayin’!
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:02 |
|
In Europe, Honda and Lexus had turbodiesel versions of the Accord (what we called the 2nd gen TSX) and IS.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:03 |

well, either way I got my too in, so ha :P
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:03 |

If the brand says it’s premium, I take them at their word.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:07 |

Aasjsdfljh can’t think of any turbo’d premium Japanese cars!

2016 Boxster GTS with a 3.4l NA flat 6.
2015 Q50 with a 3l TT V6

WHICH ONES SAY PREMIUM?!?!?!!?!!?
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:09 |

I’m stumped, can’t think of anything.

There was one Acura in the time frame and a Lexus that debuted with a new engine for 2015 MY. I was hoping someone would track down a third car, hence the real goal. It may be just the two.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:11 |

How about the RC 200t?

I know Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti always refer to themselves as such. If there is a Japanese independent brand I won’t stop you from using it.

Lexus NX200T and a Cayman
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:17 |
|
Didn’t happen until 2016MY, 2015MY was just the natural 3.5L and the 5.0L I believe. Like the RX, GS, and IS. But there was a brand spanking new vehicle that ushered in the new engine for the 2015MY.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:18 |

Acura RDX (I bet you were looking for this)
Cayman gt4

Doesn’t break the rules at all! I was hoping to hear that!
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:20 |

German: 911 GT3 RS
Japanese: IS200t
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:22 |

There’s a couple hatches and crossovers and the occasional diesel but none of those are the ones I want. I just want a big sedan or a big coupe.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:22 |
|
The Infiniti 2.0T and 3.0T engines are in 2016MY vehicles, not 2015 (unless you’re in a different market, then you may have just lucked out)!
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:22 |
|
According to Neil, the NX200t. If that’s the answer, I’ll take it. And a Morgan Three Wheeler for all this hard work I didn’t do myself. :P
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:24 |

Mercedes ML350 BlueEFFECIENCY 4Matic
Infiniti Q50 2.2 diesel.
Third vehicle restricted other than the glove compartment? If so, I’m gonna go with a previous-gen Kia Optima, which I know for a fact has a push putton glovebox. The new one doesn’t, they switched to a lever for some odd reason.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:24 |
|
Alright, for Germany, I’ll take a Cayman GT4...
and for Japan...and this might be cheating, but...I’ll take the TMG Sports 650, a twin-turbo V8 powered Lexus LS.
And for that third one, I’ll take a Jaguar XFR-S.

Include a picture of what you would like and I’ll let have whatever you want!

Indeed I am.

idk a GTR i guess. I cant think of anything else.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:28 |

Is that Mercedes not a turbo V6? I’m bad with diesels. Blue efficiency is diesel, right?
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:30 |
|
Nope, for some odd reason this BlueEFFICIENCY isn’t actually a diesel, it’s an N/A V6, according to Wikipedia.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:31 |
|
Diesels are saving the day on this one!
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:31 |
|
I just want a big Lexus LS with a turbo 6 or supercharged V8
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:31 |
|
I was going to pick the Accord Type S since Acura doesn’t exist in Europe, but Honda isn’t considered a premium brand there either so I went with the IS for mine. The Accord also had a wagon version, which was a better version of the TSX wagon we got for a few years.
![]() 03/21/2016 at 23:32 |

Dafaq!!! Well I learned something new today, thank you! This is why I’m here.

Carcrasher just posted this twin-turbo V8 LS. Said it was an HMG Sports 650. I haven’t looked it up yet but sounds great to me already.

I want it to still look completely granny spec though.

They’re cool little cars. And surprisingly quick.
